A Sparkling Comeback from te Blue Warriors

Following Last week's Forgettable Defeat at the hands of some unknown malay counterparts to a dampening XX-1 defeat... We gave ourselves a 2 week break to re-organise the team and take a little break....

We came back and gathered at mini-o Clementi woods with a few new faces. Adding some steel to the team came in the shape of Willip an elegant centre midfielder, Ivan a powerful and domineering Centreback, Nigel Wild Bulldog play that is out to break legs.... And of course new addition Jarel a poaching striker.

Along with Oldies Daniel zhenquan and myself with Asen mustering the defence. Twelve on the right flank and chai on the opposite flank, Rixian and lewis with Willip filling in the hole behind Ke Jang.. Tian Jun came on as a substitute in the second half....

Field was bumpy and nothing interesting about the pitch but what was interesting is the amount of power we infused into the match. Ivan was showing what he was made of with hard tackling and precise long ball which led to the first goal scored by Rixian. 2nd goal came through a fine header by rixian .... As he raced to get his 3rd goal....An un expected right back came racing on to a through pass so well threaded by lewis that he cannot resist the temptation latched on to the ball round the keeper and put it nicely into the net. 4th goal came through a thumping header by nigel and the 5th one in the second half in which Rixian completed his Hat Trick.... Willip was strutting his stuff and before he knew it he had earned the team a penalty and Daniel stepped up to take the penalty only to miss it and Jarel was there to poach on the ball and made the scoreline 6-0. Zhenquan scored his first goal when Ivan was tripped by the keeper and Zhenquan converted from the spot with a nicely placed goal. The match turned fiery as the players strive to not win the game but break some legs.

But inspirational Chai was domineering the midfield with his robust play that non of them could stop him as he evaded attacks over attacks unleash on him. Gave the opposition a Sucker punch with an Icing on the cake when he smashed the 8th goal and that was the best taunt you can ever give your opponent.

It was a great match and the new and old players enjoy themselves... its great to be back in shape but whether we can carry the form through out.... ??

W will only get to see it during our weekend match at Marsiling.... See you guys there....Tk Care in the mean time
