Match 19 and Match 20: Blues in the Eleven

Following the receiving of our Jerseys and taking on stronger opponents these days, we suffered 2 blowing mishaps in the next two games.

Our 19 match saw us strutting our stuff with my ex-colleague Allister who came with a team of youthful people who is super enthu and seemingly endless amount of energy. However, it was a good Free Kick From Rixian who send it over to Taran who connected with it and coverted it with perfect execution.

Chai went on to put us 2-0 up. However, there were some confusion at the back allowing the opponents to put 2 past us to be at 2-2. However, a Zong Hui Converted penalty and A exquisite strike from Zhen Qing send us 4-2 up and Zong Hui Added one in the end but was met by the equally competitive group of youngsters who did not stop attempting to attack and manage to pull themselves to a 1 goal deficit before they capitalise on our mistake to put themselves level.

Match 20 was a complete display of overrun from a very strong group of players who are rumoured to be playing professional soccer. They took the lead easily within the first 10 mins and extended their lead with a powerful header. But chai brought us back with a wonderstrike from the left and one leading on to a rixian free kick taran latch combo to equalise 2-2.

However, the opponents decided to put their strongest players and they started scoring freely with powerful headers and rocket shots before long we found ousrselves having to chase a 5 goal deficit. Down 7-2, the players are also all jaded due to the intense physical demand to play in such situations and extreme heat and all of us crumbling to the fatigue. Before the game ended, we stamped our mental resilience by reducing with a beauty strike from jumain. However, all was lost cause as we found ourselves overwhelmed by their simple and effective total football.

Its okay to face such strong opponents and get wallop. It tells where we stand and shows us how actually we show ply our trade. Please do not feel demoralise as the only way to improve is to get defeated and in the midst we grow up and learn.

Lets all hope for a good match next week.

Your Co-ordinator.
Simon
